How to save my Ancestry tree to Family Tree Maker

I have an Ancestry tree which somehow became unlinked from my family tree maker and none of the FTM files identify having been linked. I'd like to download the Ancestry tree into FTM so that I can keep it synced, as I use both platforms pretty regularly. How do I save / link a tree from Ancestry into FTM?
